Dancing lightning

The main focus is a brilliant, white-hot bolt of lightning that tears through the overcast sky. It begins as a massive horizontal crawl across the upper atmosphere before sending a main vertical branch striking directly into the ground near the center-right of the horizon. Fainter, spiderweb-like tendrils branch out from the main flash, showing the raw energy of the storm.
